Pike, Walleye Fishing

Rieger Lesiow says: The Stocker Wobbler out-fishes any trolling lure I've ever used or competed against.

End of May 1987 I was with a bunch of buddies fishing the Esnagi Lake for Northern Pike and Walleye. I used to troll the lake with crankbaits for many years pretty successful and so did other members of the group.

It was then when I first learned about the Stocker Wobbler trolling rig. One of the new guys showed us his Stocker Wobbler and insisted that he would catch more and bigger fish than anybody else of us. Believe me, we were more than only skeptical. None of us had ever seen nor heard about a trolling rig named Stocker Wobbler, and we all were pretty seasoned fishermen.

Later that day when the group met for lunch, sure enough this guy did have more and bigger fish than the rest of us. I was chosen to try the Stocker Wobbler myself. The guy with the Stocker equiped me with a rig, a few baitfish and advised me to troll slowly. It's that simple he told me.
Only one hour later this guy proved to be right, I landed (boated) a monster pike, it was the biggest fish reeled in by anyone in the group.

Now, after using the rig for many years I must tell you:
"If you're not catching fish on the Wobbler, they're not being caught. It out fishes any trolling lure I've ever used or competed against. I haven't found anything as good".

I like to buy and freeze sucker minnows. Then I thaw them out and put them on the Wobbler. Their fins stick out and they really come alive again as I troll them. The Stocker Wobbler is best used as a trolling rig in freshwater, in saltwater or for river fishing. It's not designed for casting. But in a river, just let the bait out into the current and work it over holes. You want the current strong enough to keep the bait off the bottom.

My Stocker Wobbler success story would be incomplete without saying that all my buddies, year after year, again and again are using the Wobbler as their preferred weapon.
